OnePlus 6T unboxing and first look

[ad_1]

The OnePlus 6T is the latest phone in a series of "flagship killers" created by the ambitious OnePlus to disrupt the traditional telephony market.

It follows the same formula as the previous: first-rate performance, thanks to the chip Snapdragon 845, clean and unadorned Android interface, large and beautiful AMOLED screen, very good battery life, fast loading and for the first time, a fingerprint scanner on the screen. Of course, all this comes with an important warning: a price of 550 USD, well below that of most competitors, including Samsung Galaxies and Apple iPhone, of course.

So, is the OnePlus 6T the phone you should buy if you do not want to spend more than having a good device? We will answer that in our next detailed review, but for now, let's open the box and see what's in it.

What's in the box:

  • OnePlus 6T
  • Silicone hull
  • Fast charger
  • USB-C to USB standard cable
  • 3.5mm USB-C key
  • OnePlus Stickers
  • Letter from the CEO of OnePlus

The sad news for OnePlus supporters in this list is the 3.5mm dongle. It's sad because OnePlus itself has interviewed its users and has repeatedly defended the headphone jack as an important element, which sets it apart from others. Now, he suddenly decided to no longer include one in his last phone, despite the vast majority of his users voting in favor of keeping the good old jack. These are the moments we assume, but this decision leaves a bitter aftertaste.

On a more positive note, we are happy to have a silicone case in the box to protect the phone from scratches, and OnePlus stickers are a fun little touch that adds character.

There is also a letter from OnePlus General Manager, Pete Lau, who explains to you the importance of the community (but again, this sounds odd considering how OnePlus has removed the requested headphone jack).

Of course, you also have the quick wall charger for which OnePlus is recognized, as well as the red USB-C cable you need for fast charging speeds.

And that's all. The rest is about the phone and we can not wait to talk to you about it, stay tuned.
