OnePlus is about to unveil a new flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 6T, but the Chinese company is also debating the use of the word Dash for its charging technology.
As many of you probably know, OnePlus has tried to publicize the Dash Charge brand in the US and Europe, but Amazon and Bragi have prevented it from getting the brand. Bragi, a European audio company, uses the Dash brand for its wireless headphones long before OnePlus, even if the brand name is used.
Although OnePlus has already started the process of replacing the name of Dash Charge with another (Warp Charge) about two months ago, it seems that Bragi did not want to wait until the smartphone company eliminates the old name.
Bragi brought a lawsuit against OnePlus over the use of its already filed "Dash" trademark. We have not yet learned the details of the deposits, but this could be finished very soon, and not in favor of OnePlus since the Chinese company has already been denied the "Dash" brand in the # 39; EU.
