The OnePlus 6T version will take place tomorrow in New York
There are only a few hours left before OnePlus finally unveils the new OnePlus 6T in the world.
This latest flagship product will make its grand unveiling in New York tomorrow with the big revelation that will take place around 15 hours GMT.
This device is hugely exciting and should have many improvements over its predecessor OnePlus 6.
But there are also changes that fans of this brand might not be as happy.
So, with the scheduled launch in less than 24 hours, here are six things you can love and hate about the OnePlus 6T.
Things to like
The OnePlus 6T seems ready for a bigger battery
All signs indicate a much bigger battery that arrives in the OnePlus 6T.
The current flagship product is no exception in terms of power supply, but the 3,300 mAh battery inside this phone could expand and last even longer in the next generation 6T.
OnePlus recently confirmed that one of the major demands of its users was the improvement of the battery life.
We will have to wait to see exactly what the changes are, but things are positive for a longer future.
The end of the rear fingerprint scanner
Faced with the growing demand for more and more important edge-to-edge displays, smartphone manufacturers were up to now forced to place the fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone.
This has never been something we love and it seems that this vital sensor is making a welcome return to where it is located.
The latest Huawei Mate 20 Pro has recently been unveiled and includes a fingerprint reader under the screen.
OnePlus now seems to be the next to use this technology.
The OnePlus 6T version will see the end of the rear fingerprint scanner
The Chinese manufacturer was quite eloquent about what will happen in 6T and pointed out that the fingerprint sensor of the phone would be housed under its screen.
OnePlus said, "We unlock our phones several times a day, and Screen Unlock reduces the number of steps to complete the action.
"By adding this feature to other screen unlocking options, such as unlocking faces, users will have the option to unlock the screen in the most efficient way for them."
You can get one right after the launch
If you like what you see tomorrow, it seems like you will not have to wait to buy one.
OnePlus has confirmed that in major cities of Europe, users can try to buy the new OnePlus 6T before its sale in general.
"It's always exciting to see so many enthusiasts coming into our pop-ups and we're still working to enhance the OnePlus experience in every way, from device to event," said Carl Pei, co-founder of OnePlus.
"I'm really looking forward to seeing what people think about OnePlus 6T."

The price should be higher
Thanks to the new technologies integrated into the OnePlus 6T, it seems inevitable that prices are rising.
Now, a new leak of Mobile Fun suggests that prices will start at £ 499 – £ 30 more than the OnePlus 6.
Although this price is not popular, it is worth noting that Mobile Fun indicates that the new phone will only be offered with two 128GB and 256GB memory sizes, without the 64GB model being on sale.
If this is true, it may justify the higher starting cost.

There is no headphone port.
OnePlus has always been a staunch supporter of helmet wearing but it looks like things are changing on the 6T.
S addressing TechRadar, Carl Pei, co-founder of OnePlus, said: "When we launched OnePlus, we decided to create the best smartphone possible, but creating an excellent phone does not necessarily mean integrating all the components available in l & # 39; device.
"You have to make decisions that optimize the user experience and you have to understand that at times, bringing value to the user can also create friction.
"By removing the jack, we have released more space, which allows us to incorporate more new technologies into the product."
This extra space could be dedicated to fingerprint technology and a larger battery.
However, if you like your cans and you do not want to use an adapter, the OnePlus 6 could be the best option.

The next OnePlus phone could be even better
It is quite obvious that phones are improving every year, but significant progress can be made soon.
5G is the future of mobile devices and OnePlus claims to be committed to this technology.
OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei has announced his intention to become one of the first smartphone manufacturers to offer commercial 5G smartphones.
OnePlus R & D teams have started 5G projects in 2016 and have been officially joined by Qualcomm in 2017.
The two companies have collaborated closely to study hardware and 5G network architecture.
This led to a landmark event in August 2018: OnePlus' research and development team successfully established a 5G connection to the US-based Qualcomm laboratory.
Speaking about this news, Carl Pei, co-founder of OnePlus, said: "OnePlus being at the forefront of technology and innovation, we hope to continue removing barriers and to be the first to launch a phone that supports 5G.
It could mean the next years OnePlus 7 is the one to watch.
