Oppo Finds X Variant With 10GB RAM Listed on TENAA in China

A new variant of Oppo Find X appeared on TENAA, with 10 GB of RAM and 256 GB of integrated storage

The next high-end variant of the Oppo Find X is poised to become the first smartphone in the world to have 10 GB of RAM. The phone is undergoing mandatory certification in China and will likely be unveiled in the coming weeks. While the phone was launched in June of this year and certified in May, a new variant appeared on TENAA with 10 GB of RAM and 256 GB of embedded storage. The launch date has not yet been confirmed by Oppo.

This variant of the Oppo Find X 10GB is listed on the Chinese certification site TENAA, spotted for the first time by the user of Twitter Ice Universe in a tweet. It seems to have a smaller 3.645 mAh battery unit, but nothing says if this variant will support standard VOOC or Super VOOC charging standards. Apart from this, the specifications seem to match the existing models of the Find X. As a reminder, the Oppo Find X has a starting price of 4,999 CNY in China and goes up to 1,699 euros for the Limited edition Lamborghini with 512 GB of storage. . In India, the price of the smartphone has been set at Rs. 59,990 for the only integrated storage model of 8GB of RAM / 256GB.

Oppo Find X Specifications

The Oppo Find X uses ColorOS 5.1 on Android 8.1 Oreo and sports a 6.42-inch Full HD + (1080×2340 pixels) AMOLED display in 19.5: 9 aspect ratio and a 93.8% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by a Qualcomm Octa-core 845 Snapdragon SoC, associated with the Adreno 630 GPU, 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage.

In terms of optics, the Find X carries a motorized camera slider with a dual rear camera configuration. The rear module includes a 16 megapixel primary sensor and a 20 megapixel secondary sensor. There is a single 25 megapixel camera sensor on the front, with an f / 2.0 aperture, for selfies and video calls. The phone contains a 3.730 mAh battery under the hood with a VOOC fast charge.

It would be interesting to see how much the upgrade of the huge amount of RAM is greater than the 8GB RAM option. The flagship products of Apple and Android such as the Apple iPhone XS and Google Pixel 2 come with 4 GB of RAM each and work very well.
