Humble Bundle revealed that the launch of its Humble Monthly subscription service in October would be provided by Blizzard Entertainment's first-person multiplayer shooter, Overwatch.

Buyers will immediately unlock Overwatch when they subscribe to the service at $ 12 a month and receive a package of other games to unveil on October 5th. Overwatch will be the first game developed by Blizzard to be offered by Humble, at any time. including its Humble Bundles or store, and will require a Blizzard Battle.Net account to create a link and claim.

The October Humble Monthly also comes with three normal booty boxes for Overwatch, which can only be received while remaining subscribed to the service in November and December. Two items will be distributed in November and the last in December, according to the monthly support article, although players must claim the game and log in before December 31 to receive.

This would be the lowest price for the PC version of Overwatch for now, which is unusual considering that Blizzard games are rarely discounted beyond 50%, if at all. The game has been continuously updated since its launch in May 2016 with changes in balance, seasonal events, more modest events such as the current Nano Cola Challenge

Humble also revealed the September Humble Monthly game collection, which offered subscribers the opportunity to choose Square Enix's Rise of the Tomb Raider instead of a game of three games.
