This trick makes texting a lot easier, and people can not believe it's been around all this time.
Trying to drag the slider of the iPhone is always a problem; no matter how accurate you are, your big thumbs will always keep you from typing. It's almost less effort to delete the text and start over. But as pointed out the culinary blogger Krissy Brierre-Davis, you can totally avoid the problem by holding down a key and dragging the keyboard.
It turns out that this nice shortcut is commonplace since 2015 and that an update was deployed in September as part of iOS 12. But as Twitter shows, nobody really knew it .
Not even Mike Isaac, a technology journalist for the New York Times, knew about the thing.

Note that you do not even need to hold down the space bar – you can hold any key to allow precise text selection.
It is not necessary that it is the bar of space. Press and hold anywhere on the keyboard to activate the moving cursor. ?

Apparently, some people flourish in the future, while the rest of us peasants will wallow in stone age.
The fact that you do not know that you can strongly press your keyboard or hold down the spacebar to move your cursor indicates that you are not reading my tweets and that you are a stupid AF.
Ok, continue your Monday …

How is everyone discovering this now? I know it for over a year now. And it's not just the spacebar. You can press deep anywhere for this function.
