Pokemon GO has launched a series of new content this week and if you thought that the end of October eruption was all that Niantic had planned for the foreseeable future, you are mistaken.
In November, coaches can look forward to an assortment of new events, brilliant Pokemon and quests.
The first big unveiling is about the new Field Search Pokemon – and surprisingly, it's a new Pokémon Gen 4!
"A special bug – and a type of ghost – Pokemon conducts field research at Nnovember – shedinja!" has launched a new in-game notification for Pokemon GO.
"Remember, if you have not yet caught the legendary Pokemon Suicune, you should be working on a breakthrough this week before it will go away!"
The new research quests of November begin November 1 at 13h, Paris time, 21h evening.
However, it is not everything. As most fans of this game know, every month, search quests revolve around a particular type of Pokémon.
In October, for example, the Pokémon was Suicune and field research focused on water-type Pokémon.
For November, the quests will have a Bug theme.
In addition, Research Quests games almost always add a brilliant new Pokemon to the game.
And according to the Bug theme, the new brilliant Pokémon will be Catapie!
The new shiny gold Pokémon will also unlock two more shiny forms of evolution for Metapod and Butterfree.
In addition to the new Shiny Catapie family, there is also another special bright available for the first five days of November.
To celebrate the Taiwanian Safari Zone event, coaches will be able to catch a Shiny Pinsir around the world.
It's unclear for the moment whether there will be brighter or brighter rates, such as when the game just released the Shiny Wingull, but at least the new Pokemon Shiny will be alive in the near future.
But wait, there is MORE.
Sure On Saturday, November 3, the game will also host an additional special challenge in the same spirit as the brilliant days of legendary raids.
Niantic recently announced thator three full hours, Gengar will be available in the raid battles. The players are going receive free up to five raid passes in nearby gyms and, if you are lucky, you could meet a Sheng Gengar.
As for the events of your usual community day, the day of the Gengar Raid will take place at the following times:
- Asia-Pacific: 12:00 to 15:00 JST (GMT +9)
- Europe, Middle East, Africa and India: 10:00 to 13:00 UTC (GMT +0)
- The Americas and Greenland: 11:00 to 14:00 PST (GMT -8)
Finally, after the announcement of the new evolution of Meltan, Melmetal, it is expected that players can finally get their hands on the new Pokemon in mid-November.
This would probably be related to the publication of Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu! and Pokemon Let Go Go, Eevee! which is published on the Nintendo Switch November 16, 2018.
Transform Meltan into Melmetal
The evolution of the mythical Pokémon Meltan in Melmetal can only occur in Pokémon GO and requires 400 Meltan candies.
Like candies that can be collected for other Pokémon, players can get Meltan candies by catching Meltan (after opening a mystery box) and sending it to Professor Willow or while walking with Meltan selected as Pokemon Buddy.
Fans can also get Meltan candies by sending this Pokémon GO Pokémon to Pokémon: Let's go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let's go, Eevee! video games.
Fans can have fun exploring the Kanto area with Melmetal once they bring it from Pokémon GO to Pokémon: Let's go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let's go, Eevee!
