Pokemon Go: Sinnoh Generation 4 Starters and More Confirmed

[ad_1]

Your Pokedex is about to get much bigger as The Pokemon Company and Niantic have announced that monsters from the Sinnoh area (including Gen 4 beginners) will come to Pokemon Go. A new trailer, which has a beautiful Earth atmosphere, shows a brief overview of a Turtwig hanging out in a grassy area, a Chimchar get out of his sleep in a cave and a Piplup swimming under a layer of ice.

"A huge new world is waking up around us," the voiceover says. "With more to explore than we could have ever imagined. The trailer ends with a pair of red eyes that appear and, although the Pokémon they belong to remain plunged in the dark, this looks a lot like Giratina, a legendary of the Sinnoh region.

Pokemon Go has received new injections of content quite regularly and there is usually always some sort of event or raid for the enjoyment of the players. As we approach Halloween – the feast of scary ghosts – Niantic and the Pokemon company have kicked off the Psychic Spectacular event, encouraging everyone to stock up on Pokemon destroying the ghosts, which seems a bit unfair if you ask for it.

The Psychic Spectacular event runs until 1400 Pacific Time on 14 October and you can catch Pokémon such as Abra, Ralts, Baltoy and Slowpoke more frequently. Additional field research tasks are also available and, if you complete them, you will be a little closer to Suicune.

The October Community Day is set for October 21st. That day, the Pokemon Beldum steel / psychic will be available. Niantic has not yet confirmed what special attack he might learn during the event, but the data miners had already discovered the Meteor Mash movement – the Metagross signature attack – in the game code.
