Pokemon Go will soon allow you to hatch eggs even if the application is launched in the background – BGR

One of the most frustrating elements of Pokemon GoSince the launch of the game, it is impossible to achieve anything without leaving the application open on your phone. If you want to hatch eggs or win candies while walking with your friend, the app must be active on your screen. As soon as you return to the Home screen or switch to another application, everything pauses until you return to Pokemon Go.

More than two years after its launch, Niantic finally solves this problem with a brand new feature called Adventure Sync. Soon to Pokemon GoAdventure Sync allows the app to record your steps even when it's not working, allowing you to keep moving while keeping your battery.

As the developer explains, this feature allows you to gain distance for eggs and for your Pokemon friend at any time when you walk with your phone. The feature will also include a weekly summary that will break down the progress of your incubator and sweets, so you can track exactly how far you've traveled. And do not worry about staying up to date – push notifications let you know when your boyfriend has received a candy or hatched egg.

Once Adventure Sync has arrived, you'll be able to sign up anytime from the game. Adventure Sync also connects to Apple Health on Apple devices and to Google Fit on Android devices. You do not have two separate tracking tools to follow. No release date for the feature has been announced.
