Pokemon Go players will soon have another chance to capture Zapdos. As a reward for reaching the goal of the World Challenges at the Pokemon Go Fest last weekend, the legendary bird will return to play this Saturday, July 21, but it will not be available long.
For a three-hour window Over time, players will be able to meet Zapdos again as a raid battle in gyms. As with other Raid bosses, you will first have to team up with other players to fight the Legendary Pokémon. If you manage to defeat him, then you will have the opportunity to capture him.
As an electric and flying type, Zapdos is vulnerable to Rock-type Pokémon such as Golem and Tyranitar. Each Zapdos captured during the special event this weekend will experience Thunder Shock attack. Players will also be able to receive up to five free Raid Passes by spinning photo discs in the gyms. These passes are required to participate in the raids.
Zapdos will be available at different times depending on which part of the world you live in. You can find the time of appearance of legendary Pokémon in each region below. Niantic says that players can also have a chance to meet a brilliant Zapdos during the hours of the event.
