According to Nintendo Soup, Singapore-based Brandon Tan has made a name for himself by becoming the best Pokémon GO coach in the world. The player would have sold Pokémon online for as much as $ 400 and would also be in possession of more than five Pokémon GO accounts. Tan would have become an easy target for Niantic when he made all this information available to the public online. This includes the promotion of its "Mewtwo service" via Twitter, which involves trading the rare Pokémon for a high price for its 26,000 subscribers.
A few days before his suspension, Tan tweeted how he had done 485 Mewtwo raids this week – participating in 69 raids a day on average from 6am to 9.30pm. It is essentially a full-time job, which makes it all the more surprising that he would publicly break the rules and expose himself to this risk.
