In addition to Splash Surf for Pikachu and Flare Burn for Eevee, Masuda also revealed some HM changes that could be useful in playing Pokemon Let's Go. At a time Pikachu and EeveePlayers will be able to use techniques called Diagonal Cut and Water Walk. Diagonal Cut will allow players to summon Pikachu or Eevee to cut trees. Meanwhile, Water Walk will let players summon one of the Pokémon to surf. The two new HMs will not take any place of displacement.

In Japan, pre-orders of any version of Pokemon Let's Go come with a figure of Pikachu or Eevee. Nintendo Life warns that the numbers are prototypes so that they may look unfinished. Those who purchase pre-order both versions of the game will also receive a book of art. Meanwhile, in the UK, anyone buying Pokemon Let's Go you will receive a plush keychain from Pikachu or Eevee, depending on the game ordered. There's still no news about pre-order bonuses in the US at the moment, but US-based retail stores may be preparing something and waiting to be more close to the release date.
