Some images of the Porsche 911 '992' generation 2019 appeared online, revealing the new model just days before its official launch. They offer the best look yet of its slightly evolved design.

Porsche will unveil the new model on November 27 (November 28 in Australia). So far, few concrete details have been officially confirmed on this subject, but we have a pretty good idea of what this will look like thanks to a range of spy shots. Just last week, a superb blue Gulf Racing example was spotted in the streets, with no camouflage or disguise.

At the rear, Porsche is applying its latest full-width taillight treatment to allow the 911 to integrate with the rest of the show lineup. Meanwhile, the front seems to have a wider footprint, with traditional round headlights and a new three-section lower admission system.

The images, which appear to be official low resolution press images, also confirm the alloy wheels that we saw on the Gulf Racing blue example last week. Among the other details revealed in the images are the vertical vents of the engine hood, integrated into the windshield case, as well as a black diffuser area submerged at the back that envelops the double exhaust gas.

Under the hood of the engine, speculation suggests that the 992 911 would take the existing 3.0-liter dual turbo-flat engines. Performance in terms of power and fuel economy is expected to improve slightly, as it is about a new eight-speed automatic clutch transmission to replace the current seven-speed group.

We do not have to wait long to know all the details, so be sure to give the answer on November 28th. All the action will take place at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
