We seem to be past the dual camera trend. Yes, now it’s triple cameras. Huawei has already released the P20 Pro with triple rear cameras, and the upcoming Mate 20 Pro should sport the same. The LG V40 ThinQ triple camera setup also leaked recently.

We know that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 series will have triple rear cameras, but the latest leak has shown us what may be the specs of the three sensors. The main sensor seems to be the same 12MP dual aperture f/1.5-2.4 setup we have on the Galaxy S9. The second sensor is a new wide angle 16MP f/1.9 sensor with a 123-degree field of view, lacking both autofocus and optical image stabilization. The third is a 13MP f/2.4 sensor with a 45-degree field of view, likely being the telephoto lens.

This setup should appear on the more expensive Galaxy S10 Plus while the Galaxy S10 will likely get a dual camera setup. More sensors just means more ways to take a photo, more options for those who need them. That’s a win in our book. Hopefully these specs are legit because that setup sounds great!
