"Preview" of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: All you need to know

[ad_1]

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is around the corner, claiming the month of December for its release, a day usually inactive. It's a massive iteration of the classic arcade fighter franchise, with a wealth of bonuses, modes, and options. To help them stay straight, Nintendo has released a long trailer.

The Overview trailer covers the vast selection of characters and stages, the different types of bonuses you can expect, the Adventure Mode, the new Spirits Mode, various modes and multiplayer options, the Amiibo support, etc. This is a very comprehensive overview of all that Smash Bros. Ultimate has to offer, recording more than seven minutes of time. This is also all told to the comic effect by the Smash announcer.

However, all developments in previous Smash games do not make the transition. We recently learned that it does not allow you to define custom moves like in Smash 4 on Wii U and 3DS. And although you can train your fighters with the Amiibo feature, some of the new additions to the list will not be available as a figurine until next year. However, we had a good overview of some of the new fighters in action.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate arrives on December 7th. Check out our guide to everything we know for more details.
