The PlayStation Network is currently down, which means that many people can no longer play online games or access other network-related services online from Sony. The PlayStation Network Service Status page currently indicates that "some services are experiencing problems." In the list of services experiencing problems, account management, games and social networks, PlayStation, PlayStation Now, PlayStation Music and PlayStation Store videos are unavailable. [Update: PSN appears to be back online. We’ll report back with any further changes.]
"You may have trouble logging in or creating an account on the PlayStation Network," reads a message on the services page. "Our engineers are working to solve the problem as quickly as possible, and we thank you for your patience." For games and social media, the details page indicates that players "may have difficulty launching games, applications or online features."
