Psyonix gives a new update on the cross-platform PS4 game console Rocket League & # 39;

Since then, Psyonix CEO Dave Hangwood has turned to Reddit to provide a second update.

It reads as follows:

"To all fans of Rocket League, our loyal players, our community, our friends and the community of players in general … Let's talk about the multi-platform game.

"Cross-playing on all the consoles is a subject that is close to my heart, and it has been my passion since the creation of Rocket League and I've constantly encouraged my team to say that not only do we have the opportunity, but that we have an obligation to be pioneers in bringing players together regardless of the platform. The games can come and go, but it is not often that you have the opportunity to be part of a real step forward in online games.

"We built Rocket League to be a cross-platform game from the beginning. Psyonix's mandate is that our technology, our processes and our policies must always respect this effort and we have worked tirelessly to ensure it. We hoped that other developers would join us in this effort and they did it. We hoped the players would scream more and they did it.

"Of course, the cross-platform game is not something Psyonix and Rocket League can do everything alone. Substantial cooperation and coordination is required from many partners, including the platform holders themselves. It is with great joy that I can now recognize that all major consoles are moving towards a truly cross-platform multi-platform gaming experience!

"I want everyone to understand how important it is for us and always for our team, there are still many factors, some of which are time consuming, which means that we have to demonstrate and I wanted to make sure our players know where we are, I look forward to seeing our vision of a truly unified Rocket League community finally realized.
