Microsoft did Battlegrounds of the unknown player (PUBG) Free to download and keep on Xbox One today. The software giant notes that the full version 1.0 of PUBG for Xbox is "free for a limited time" and you can download the game for free immediately from the Microsoft Store. Microsoft had originally promised "big news" for PUBG fans at the company's X018 show Saturday, and it looks like the free PUBG promotion is one of them. It is unclear to what extent this free promotion is "limited", or whether PUBG Fans will receive credits in the game for paying to test a beta version of the game over the past year. PUBG appeared in the Xbox game preview last year, priced at $ 29.99.

The free Microsoft promotion comes at a key time for PUBG. According to rumors, the game is about to start on the Sony PlayStation 4 next month. If the reports are genuine, it means that Microsoft has paid for a year PUBG exclusivity. During this year, performance issues affected the game on the Xbox One basis, and PUBG is currently sitting at three out of five stars for comments in the Microsoft Store.

Microsoft also seems to be doing Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 free for a limited time, a move probably related to his show XO18 this weekend. You can download Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 free from the Microsoft Store right now, though.
