The battlefields of PlayerUnknown is known to offer frequent updates, but the latest could be exciting. Developer Bluehole has just announced that he is partnering with DC to create skins that give the characters of Joker and Harley Quinn from Suicide Squad.

Bluehole has not yet revealed details on the merger. So there is very little that we can speculate at the moment, but according to a trailer revealed on Twitter and Youtube, Joker and Quinn are confirmed to be part of the update. The trailer shows the two characters in action while they seem out of what appears to be Miramar's prison.

As mentioned in a report by IGN, Fortnite had a similar link with Marvel during the Avenger Time: Infinity War is out. Epic Games, the developers of Fortnite then introduced a mode of play of limited duration in which a glove appears on the card and that the person who obtained it would turn into Thanos. We do not know if Bluehole plans a similar mode for PUBG or if we will only see the skins that can be purchased in the store.

It is also not known if this association makes sense for PUBG Mobile players.

The news of the update also appears the same day another report suggests that PUBG could soon arrive on the Sony PlayStation 4. According to the report, PUBG promotional images have been discovered on Sony's PlayStation servers over the last two weeks. These images, in turn, have been connected to a digital game identification code and show two logos that are in the interface of the PlayStation 4.

The report also states that PUBG's Xbox One exclusivity could end on Dec. 12, while the game ends a year on the console.
