Razer and Microsoft collaborate on Gear for Xbox One?

Having a keyboard and mouse plugged into your console is not new, but if the rumors are true, Xbox One users could get custom Razer equipment. The story comes from Windows Central, who claim to have received some leaked documents from a presentation that the company apparently gave to Microsoft, detailing a new mouse and keyboard configuration specifically designed for the Xbox One. According to the report, the Turret and BlackWidow models could be made compatible, including by supporting the Razer Chroma software, and that virtually any mouse could work with the system via a USB connection.

Assuming these reports are accurate at the moment, it would be a great addition to the console if a simple software update could make the Razer hardware compatible. It would essentially be an implemented parameter in which you would enter and pass between the controller or the mouse / keyboard so that the system knows where to take the commands. But you probably will not get as many customization macros as you would like, unless the game is already designed to take these commands from a PC version. Either way, it looks like a business that is worth pursuing by both parties.

Would you use Razer hardware on an Xbox One?
