On Wednesday in Los Angeles, Razer is organizing an event to launch a new phone, most likely the Razer Phone 2. The live stream starts at 6:30 pm. PT / 9:30 pm ET, and we expect the company to announce a phone, and we bet it's the Razer Phone 2.
At least, that's what all the evidence suggests, from the business A Razer Phone 2 is officially underway on a page (now pulled out) of Amazon presenting the unpublished phone. If the leak leaves much to be desired, the company's next phone will have a wireless charging and IP67 water resistance rating – but it will not have a new design. According to the images of Amazon, it will be almost identical.
Anyway, we'll know it soon. CNET received an invitation to the event from October 10th to September and, if there is no mention of the original Razer phone's tracking, the outline drawn on it. invitation looks exactly like a phone.
Razer also recently, although temporarily, slashed the price Razer Phone from 300 to 400 USD (the original price was 700 USD). Was it a way to empty an inventory before the arrival of the new phone? Maybe, but it will be necessary to wait until Wednesday evening to know it.
The first Razer phone, released late last year, was the company's first flagship Android phone. CNET rented the phone for its ultra-modern Android-based performance with its 120Hz display and awesome speakers, but its camera left a lot to be desired, especially in low light conditions.
