A few years ago, this idea would have seemed nil, but last year brought us the surprising debut of the first-generation Razer Phone, a solidly equipped Android gaming device with an extra high refresh rate display. A tracking device seems like a pretty reasonable idea, and earlier this month we received confirmation that Razer was planning such a smartphone. But then, take a step back and realize that the green frame highlighting this invitation is not a simple border and presents the telltale bumps of the Razer phone's volume buttons: we're looking at a smartphone silhouette.
Additional support for the idea that this event will be the first of the Razer Phone 2 goes through a rendition that was leaked earlier this week. Although this does not give us much to see, largely reflecting the design of the first-generation Razer phone, we see the phone set at this date of October 10th. Coincidence? We do not think so.
