There is, however, a secret method that can give your portfolio a boost without too much trouble. # 39; effort.
The method is none other than the side mission of the Poisonous Trail treasure map, which at its end rewards you with four gold bars worth around $ 2,000 when sold. As you explore, you will often find treasure maps that will lead you to all sorts of valuable items, but none will be as lucrative as the Poisonous Trail cards, which you will be able to complete very early. Of course, if you prefer to cheat with the system, you can try this little discovered problem that can bring you 30 gold bars. But we all know that it is far from being so much fun!
Below you will find instructions that will take you to all the treasure maps of the Poisonous Trail Secondary Mission. We have also included screenshots to help you on your trip. It should be noted that you can not just go to the final place to take advantage of the gold. You must first find each treasure map before the gold appears at its associated location.

Treasure Map 1: Cairn Lake Cabin
The first map is at Cairn Lake, north of Valentine, in the mountains. There is snow up there, so be sure to bring a thick jacket with you before heading to that direction. If you have launched the foreign mission "The noblest of men, and a woman", you will notice that it is the exact location of the legendary flapper Flaco Hernandez.
Once you arrive at Cairn Lake, you should find a small abandoned hut – one in which Hernandez lives. Approach the bed to the right and discover the safe below, which contains the first treasure map with additional valuables.
Treasure Map 2: Facing rock and an unpretentious tree trunk
The first treasure map attempts to show you a place where there is a rock that looks like a face. If you have not spent a lot of time exploring, this natural training may seem like a mystery to you. Fortunately, we know exactly where he is. Just get off in the Lemoyne area, just south of New Hanover. You can find the rock just north of the "E" in "Scarlett" on the map; Check the screenshot in the gallery above for visual clarification.
You will see Face Rock on a hill. To find the map, pass in front of the tree directly next to Face Rock. You will want to run further up the back of the hill where a thin tree trunk is located right next to a fallen tree. The map is located in this thin tree trunk.
Final Treasure Map: The Mysterious Snake Mound
The second treasure map invites you to look for an earthly formation resembling a snake. Again, a quirk that you will probably miss if you have not spent a lot of time recording all the sights in the world. This strange mound is located southeast of Van Horn, a reasonable distance south of the "R" of "New Hanover" on the map.
As indicated by the treasure map, you will have to look for a pile of rocks near the snake-shaped mound. It's pretty easy to spot because it's literally only a pile of rocks stacked with a hole in the center. Search the hole to find the final treasure map. Forward to the treasure!
The treasure: gold! Gold! Gold!
The last treasure map shows a waterfall and what appears to be a trail in a cave. You will find this waterfall at Elysian Pond, located directly northeast of the "E" at "Hanover" on the map. When you arrive, cross the waterfall to discover the entrance to a hidden cave.
It's dark in the cave, so turn off your lantern. Continue through the cave until you find a section in the path where you can go down. When you land, go through the crawl on the right, which will take you to the junction indicated on the map. Take the right path, but before you kiss right, find a makeshift camp with a mailbox containing a large jewelry bag.
Continue the path forward until you reach what appears to be a pit in some ruins. Instead of falling to the death, continue left until you reach another edge. If you look closer, your lantern will illuminate a solid ground below which you can land. But let's go back a few steps. you are going to want to run to make that jump. If your acrobatics are enough, go down the slope on the left. You will slip in water; Once you have found your balance, look to your left for a rocky platform. Search this area and you will be rewarded with four gold bars.
If this is the first time you get gold, know that you can sell it at Fences for a direct profit. However, if you feel particularly generous, it is possible to give it directly to your camp.
