A number of GameSpot staff members recently played the final version of Red Dead Redemption 2, which will be released in a few weeks (Oct. 26) on PS4 and Xbox One. Despite some initial familiarity as a Rockstar game, we discovered a host of new features and new systems once we walked the surface. There are a lot of mechanics we can talk to you about, a lot of things we have not seen yet, and potentially a lot of things that we have not seen yet. And that without diving into Red Dead Online, which remains largely a mystery and will only be launched in November (and even then, only in beta).

Rockstar has recently released a second gameplay trailer that introduces some new features that we have not had a chance to see directly, but it's easy to imagine how they could fit into the game according to our experience. We will continue to update this gallery when Rockstar releases new details. Please note that due to the limited number of media available, not all images will be completely representative of the features that they describe.
