Reilited Trilogy: the best sales in the UK

[ad_1]

Last week was the least busy with the release of many AAA titles in a short time. Among them, there was Pokémon: Let's Go and Spyro: Reilited Trilogy.

Despite the amount of games on offer, Pokémon: Let's Go and Spyro: Reignited Trilogy sold very well, becoming the best-selling game in the UK last week.

It should be noted that Pokémon: Let's Go has several SKUs, with Let's Go: Pikachu and Let's Go: Eevee, as well as packs including the Poké Ball Plus. Despite this, you can say that nostalgia is a powerful thing, because the titles of Pokémon and Spyro: Reignited Trilogy are remakes (in a way).

Pokémon: Let's Go has a small advantage since Let's Go: Pikachu and Let's Go: Eevee are listed separately – so if you do not count them together, Spyro: Reignited Trilogy did his debut at No. 1 on the UK charts, which is impressive since a Fallout game released at the same time.

Unfortunately, Hitman 2 did not perform as well when it was released, as it ranked only 10th on the British charts – a 90% drop from Hitman: Absolution in 2012.

It is clear that cluttered broadcast windows will result in lower sales of some games. So we may see more strategic planning in the future. Nevertheless, Pokémon: Let's Go and Spyro: Reignited Trilogy will be very popular during the holidays and will remain relevant, although they are based on older games of the 90s.
