Do you want to arouse your child's interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics? The latest robot ball compatible with Sphero's applications can help you.
Unveiled on Monday, the $ 149.99 Sphero Bolt is sure to catch their eye with its fully programmable 8×8 LED color matrix. The educational toy also includes infrared sensors that allow it to communicate with other screws, a built-in compass that allows auto aiming and an ambient light sensor that allows you to program the device according to the brightness of your room.

"With Bolt, we have created a scalable experience for all ages that includes the fact that the game is a powerful teacher," said Sphero CEO Paul Berberian in a statement. "Our goal for this product, as well as for all future Sphero products, is to provide consumers with the opportunity to learn while having fun."
Bolt supports Bluetooth Smart technology and includes a waterproof and scratch-resistant shell. It has a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that promises to provide more than two hours of juice per six hour charge.
It works with the Sphero Edu application, which allows you to browse and share learning and coding projects on iOS, Android, Kindle, Mac, Windows and Chrome. It also works with the Sphero Play iOS and Android app, which offers fun driving modes and games.
"Create and customize games and learn to code by drawing on your screen, using scratch blocks, or writing JavaScript text programs," Sphero wrote.
Bolt is now available on the Sphero website and is expected to arrive on the shelves later this month.
