Rocksteady is recruiting for a new triple A title

Batman: Arkham Knight developer Rocksteady has released a series of new job postings, saying the studio is about to launch a new project. The jobs cover all areas of game development, including animation, programming and community management.

The job offers mention a new triple-A game in the Rocksteady pipeline, but they do not specify which property may be involved. Some of the available positions are for new permanent staff, but others are two year contracts.

A topic from ResetEra highlighted the position of Community Manager, which is to be based in North London and is a two-year temporary position to promote "a long-awaited AAA title."

Another list, for a senior environmental artist, is a "long-term contract" of two years or more.

The announcements indicate that the new game will be designed for "next-generation platforms" and will use advanced environments and art resources.
Since its creation in 2004, Rocksteady Studios has mainly worked on the Batman: Arkham franchise. Batman: Arkham VR was the latest game launched by the company, launched for Windows and PlayStation 4 in 2016.

Some of the ads also mention that the game is developed in partnership with Warner Bros. Interactive.

We heard rumors about something new in Rocksteady's work before, when the studio tweeted a photo of a new motion capture studio. Voice actor Troy Baker, who has lent his voice to several roles in the Arkham series, responded to the tweet with a gif of popcorn.

Whatever Rocksteady works, it is likely to happen in 2020.
