The Nintendo Switch looks more and more like what the Wii U should have been – stylish, portable and immediately intuitive.

It's no surprise then that many Wii U games have already been ported to the console, giving those who missed the Wii U a chance to play the biggest titles of the failed console.

According to reports, another is opening – a real The legend of Zelda title, to that.

Legend Of Zelda: A sword to heaven that will rock?

According to recent information, Zelda's producer, Eiji Aonuma, during a recent Zelda concert at the Nintendo Live show in Osaka, Japan, apparently teased that Sword in the sky arrives at the hybrid console. Yes, the Wii title originally released in 2011 relied heavily on motion controls and became controversial because of such a scheme.

"I know what you're waiting for – Sword in the sky for Switch. That's it? ", Aonuma said on stage during the event. The report contains several Twitter updates from those present, each mentioning that the game would go to the Switch.

If the game actually arrives on the latest Nintendo console, this begs the question of why it never happened on the Wii U in the first place. If you think about it, it makes sense: the Wii U has never been designed to be used with Wii remotes. In fact, they were only optional because the main controller of the Wii U was the included GamePad. The developers have forced players to buy remotes to take full advantage of the game.

What about controls?

Not so with the switch. Joy-Con controllers are already equipped with motion detection technology used by games such as Mario Tennis, ARMS, and much more. This means developers can have more freedom to portage Sword in the sky at the console because it already has the technology to support the control schemes focused on the movement of the game. Again, the team could very well change that and make the game more traditional. It was something that the players initially wanted, since the controls often proved to be tricky or the chore was effective.

It is not certain that Nintendo will carry the game with its original motion controls intact, but in any case, it would be a natural choice for the console.

What do you think of a potential Sword in the sky remaster for the switch? As always, if you have something to share, do not hesitate to listen to them in the comments section below!
