And I'm talking about a real foldable screen, and not the kind of "foldable" displays we've seen on the ZTE Axon M and similar handsets. Again, the concept of Rouyu Technology will never be as widespread or as sophisticated as the Galaxy F and Huawei's own collapsible handset.

As you can easily see, the display looks very plasticky when unfolded. It's also very brilliant, which could be a problem. Yes, you get a tablet-like interface that works in both portrait and landscape mode, but the screen does not seem to offer a good touch and navigation experience. Just look at how light bounces off the surface of the screen. This means that the surface is not as smooth and what you expect from any smartphone or tablet screen.

When you fold the device, the screen stays on the outside and you should be able to seamlessly switch between the front and back screens. One of them has a huge telescope, where the dual lens camera resides.

However, the experience is far from complete and you will notice some delay and some jitter when applications need to switch to a new screen mode. Not to mention the fact that the device does not seem to clutter the pocket, this is the main reason for making folding devices.

What's interesting is that the unnamed device is powered by the Snapdragon 8150 from Qualcomm, which is the new marketing name for the flagship Snapdragon 855 platform, which will power phones like the Galaxy S10, OnePlus 7, Pixel 4 and all other upcoming Android phones. out next year.

Given all this, if an unknown company (at least in western markets) like Rouyu Technology can create this device right now, then we should be seriously excited about what giants like Samsung and Huawei are going to be able to do.
