Samsung Gear S4 may launch as the Galaxy Watch that runs on Google's WatchOS. According to pollster Ice Universe the South Korean major plans to switch from Tizen OS to WearOS for its next-generation smartwatch.
The details are obviously missing at the moment, but the tweet of Samsung flees Ice Universe confirms some features of the smartwatch. For example, the Galaxy watch will probably come with a 470mAh battery. He also mentions the & # 39; PLP package & # 39; which is a new type of chip making process, allowing the company to add more hardware to the inside of the smartwatch. The tweet also mentions a new "UX interaction". This could be an indication of a rotating bezel, which was featured on previous Gear smartwatches. Ice Universe also reveals that the Galaxy watch can measure blood pressure, which means that Samsung wants to position the upcoming laptop as a fitness device.

We have heard that Samsung intends to adopt Google WearOS for its next smartwatch. In May, Evan Blass a popular popularizer reported that Samsung was testing Smartwatches Gear with WearOS. Samsung has generally opted for TizenOS for its portable devices, but one of the main problems with the operating system is the lack of support for developers. In contrast, WearOS has a universal appeal and many developers create applications for the platform. It is therefore logical that Samsung plans to launch a smartwatch with the help of WearOS in the near future.
Samsung is expected to launch the Gear S4, aka Galaxy Watch, at IFA 2018, which will take place in Berlin from August 31 to September 30, 5.
