At the annual developer conference, Samsung officially unveiled last week its latest design change, the Samsung One UI. Samsung has also confirmed that the Galaxy S8, S8 + and Note 8 will also benefit from this update.

The best gifts for Android users

Talk to Android Authority Recently, Samsung has confirmed that a handful of its old devices would benefit from the new One UI. This includes the Galaxy S8, the Galaxy S8 + and the Galaxy Note 8.

The Samsung One user interface was confirmed on stage last week to arrive in beta on the Galaxy S9, S9 + and Note 9 later this month, with a public update in January. However, older devices were not yet confirmed. We now know that their support is imminent, but there is still no clear timetable. However, looking at previous versions, we can assume that this will not be the case. as well long between the two.

Presumably, the Samsung One user interface will arrive on these devices with the updates of Android 9 Pie. Again, there is no schedule in place for this. One can only hope that other versions of Samsung equipped with Pie will also have a user interface. However, given the company's interest in using one hand with this interface, it would be logical for the interface to be limited primarily to Infinity devices.
