Samsung Galaxy Note 9
In just 18 months, the smartphone sector has gone from being dominated by traditional 16: 9 screens to being submerged by 19: 9 complete panels with notches. Despite the growing popularity of these panels, however, Samsung has avoided nicked designs using its Infinity Display panels. Currently, these use a unique 18.5: 9 image format, but if a new reference list is needed, it may soon be even more extensive.
According to the model number SM-G405F and Android 9 Pie, the smartphone has been tested with a resolution of 869 x 412p, which translates into a higher 19: 9 image format. Now the listed resolution may seem relatively low, but it is common to HTML5test performance tests. In fact, the Galaxy S9, which has a resolution of 2960 x 1440p, has been listed with a resolution of 846 x 412p. Thus, if the SM-G405F numbers are extended, the actual resolution would be 3040x 1440p.
At this point, there is no indication of the type of smartphone to which it could relate, but it is possible that it is a very old Galaxy S10 test unit. If this is the case, one notch above is extremely unlikely, despite the higher aspect ratio. This is due to Samsung's increased efforts to minimize glasses – the chin could be half the size of Samsung's, and the top bezel should also be slightly reduced.
Regardless of the type of smartphone, it should not be too long before this model number starts to appear elsewhere. Once this happens, confirmation of the external design of the smartphone and interns will likely follow.
