Samsung is delivering on its promise to bring new features to its midrange phones first.
The company announced today the Galaxy A9, the world's first quad-camera phone. The rear cameras are arranged vertically on the left side, next to the fingerprint reader.
Images of the Galaxy A9 were leaked before the launch today by Evan Blass and the German site AllAboutSamsung, which provided details of a phone claim that leaks Ice Universe in September, Samsung was preparing a four-camera phone.

The phone includes 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, or 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage. Both have a microSD slot that supports cards with 512 GB of storage to stuff photos. And the phone has a battery of 3800 mAh.
The Galaxy A9 will cost between € 550 and € 599 ($ 635 to $ 690), according to AllAboutSamsung. Samsung said the phone would be available in some markets from November.
The Galaxy A9 phone will come with Android Oreo and is available in black caviar, blue lemonade or pink Bubblegum.
In September, DJ Koh, CEO of Samsung Mobile, announced that Samsung would launch a "middle class" strategy that would offer "technology and differentiation" to its Galaxy A range, ahead of its flagship Galaxy S and Note ranges.
