This is probably not the announcement that most people were looking for Samsung as rumors circulated about the next foldable device. But we had official news that two of their midrange devices arrive in the United States at affordable prices. The Galaxy A6 and Galaxy Tab A 10.5 will be available from September 14th. Those looking for less powerful but less expensive devices (compared to flagship products) are likely to be welcome.
The Samsung Galaxy A6 features a 5.6-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 720 x 1480. It will be powered by the Exynos 7884 processor and has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be extended with a microSD card. It has 16MP cameras in the front and back, so it's not bad if taking selfies is one of your hobbies. It will run on Android 8.0 Oreo (sorry, not yet Pie) and will have a 3000 mAh battery. It has the same specifications as previously published models in other markets.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is also similar to other versions published in other countries. It has a 10.5-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 and is powered by Snapdragon 450 SoC. It has a 7,300 mAh battery and it will work on Android 8.1 Oreo. It seems to be specifically marketed to parents with kids who want to have tablets because it has the Samsung Kids suite that allows parents to control their kids' digital activities.
Both aircraft will be launched on September 14 in the United States. The Galaxy A6 will be priced at $ 359.99 and will be available from Samsung, but will be launched with other operators later this year. The Galaxy Tab A Wi-Fi version will cost you $ 329.99.
