Samsung's 8K 85-inch TV will go on sale for $ 15,000

Samsung announced its first 8K QLED TV in August, and the 85-inch Q900R Smart TV is now available for pre-order for $ 15,000. It's unclear whether the 65-inch, 75-inch and 82-inch formats will be available for pre-order, but the 85-inch TV will be shipped on October 28 – just in time to set up an immersive haunted house and scare your wallet.

Samsung claims that the TV's "8K AI Upscaling" feature uses its Quantum 8K processor to remaster "the current content in stunning 8K format to improve detail and improve definition." 8K of content to watch for now – so this looks like to a feature that no one knows if they still need.

Like all Samsung QLED TVs, the Q900R also features Surround Mode, which lets you use your phone to capture a picture of the space behind your TV and set it as your display to create a transparent look. Samsung's range of 4K QLED TVs is priced at a much lower price, ranging from $ 1,600 to $ 5,300, and offers many of the same features. But if you still want 8K TV, the website offers a payment plan of $ 415.70 per month for 36 months, which amounts to buying a new iPhone every two months for a year and a half. A very good decision!
