Annesburg, in Roanoke Ridge, New Hanover, is another site. This is a mining town next to the Lannahechee River. "The working conditions are terrible for the game and many men lost their lives in the pit," reads the description of the city.

Players can also visit a town called Saint Denis in another area called Lemoyne. Described as a "bustling city", the area is populated by "businessmen, socialists, sailors, workers, beggars and thieves".

There are also snow-covered areas, such as the Grizzlies in Ambarino, as well as a bayou town called Lagras with alligators in the water. Go to the Rockstar website to see an overview of the places you can explore in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released Oct. 26 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In addition to a campaign, the game will have a multiplayer mode with content exclusive to PlayStation.
