Three of the four upcoming episodes of the "Final Fantasy XV" downloadable content have been canceled, Square Enix announced on Wednesday during a special live broadcast.

This announcement comes shortly after the departure of Square Enix manager Hajima Tabata.

"Regarding my next projects and my near future, I have a project that I really want to achieve as the next challenge after" FFXV "," said Tabata. "For this reason, I decided to leave my current position and start my own business in order to reach my goal."

Originally, it was planned to offer four additional downloadable episodes, each bearing the title of a different character: Ardyn, Aranea, Luna and Noctis.

Now, it seems that only the episode of Ardyn is born.

"Final Fantasy XV: Episode Ardyn" should be released in March 2019, and the price announced thereafter for the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One and the PC.

Square Enix also shared information on "Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer: Comrades". The new standalone version will include new leaders and other extras, such as costumes and weapons, next month.

"Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer: Comrades" will be released on December 12 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PC version of "Final Fantasy XV" will receive an update in the future that will give PC players access to new content that console players will receive in the standalone version.
