Apple launched Friday the "Golden Master" version of the shortcut iOS 12 for developers via TestFlight before the scheduled launch next week.
Little has changed in GM, although notes from Apple developers indicate that all expected features have been enabled.
Additional features will likely be added in future updates, as some macro-command options such as HomeKit still appear to have limited scope. In shortcuts, HomeKit appears as a supported application, although actions are currently limited to newly triggered scenes.
Beyond HomeKit, the GM shortcuts returns links to third-party applications. Federico Viticci noted on Twitter that the application again includes full access to Dropbox, with resources dedicated to the user interface, which suggests that the addition is due to a change on the side of D & D. # 39; Apple.

The shortcuts were introduced as a prominent feature of iOS 12 at WWDC 2018. Based on the Workflow application, acquired by Apple in 2017, the new application allows users to create and execute application macros via customs Siri phrases.
For example, an iPhone user can create a shortcut called "I lost my keys" that automatically sends a ping to a Bluetooth-enabled tile tracking. The application allows incredibly complex actions, with multiple services and applications brought together via an easy-to-use interface.
