Since the collective dismissals at the Telltale Games, the company is trying to find a way to finish The Walking Dead. Not long ago, it was revealed that Telltale was potentially a lifeline when several partners came forward and expressed interest in helping The last season until the end.

It is now confirmed that Skybound Games will support the editing and development of the latest episodes of The Walking Dead. The creator of The Walking Dead and Skybound Entertainment founder Robert Kirkman formalized the project at Comic-Con in New York:

We will take over Telltale's "The Walking Dead" to complete the story of Clem … We can not lose Clementine and Rick the same year.

The news has also been confirmed on the Skybound Twitter account, the company revealing that she would be responsible for completing the Clem trip. The goal is to keep the original development team intact as Skybound collaborates with former Telltale executives to reach an agreement. According to Variety, Skybound had never used internal developers for its games.

The multi-platform entertainment company Skybound was founded in 2010 with the goal of developing properties on a variety of media, including movies, television and video games. Skybound Games was created only earlier this year to help development.
