Someone bought the new Google Pixel 3 XL smartphone from Hong Kong to Hong Kong 3 days before its official unveiling

Engadget's reporter, Richard Lai, has gotten hold of what appears to be a Google Pixel 3 XL three days before the official release of the device. In a video for Engadget, Lai said he acquired the highly anticipated smartphone from a Hong Kong electronics store called WahPhone Digital for US $ 2,030.

According to Lai, the device seems to be the real deal, with features matching the information disclosed on the phone, including a fingerprint reader on the back and a large, upper notch. "[It] feels strong and well built, "wrote Lai.

We still do not know how WahPhone Digital acquired the Pixel 3 XL a few days before its official release date.
