Players wishing to familiarize themselves with the Kingdom Hearts complex plot in anticipation of Kingdom Hearts 3 of 2019 will have the chance to do so later this month.

Square Enix and Disney today announced the launch of the nine-part Kingdom Hearts – The Story So Far compilation on the PlayStation 4 on October 30 for $ 39.99.

Kingdom Hearts – The So Far Story is available for pre-order on Amazon right now and features HD graphics, other updates and changes from the original versions of many of its included games.

The film also contains a feature film, and more. The complete package includes:

  • Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix
  • Kingdom Hearts Final Mix
  • Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of memories
  • Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (Remastered HD Movies)
  • Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix
  • Final mix of birth by sleep of Kingdom Hearts
  • Kingdom Hearts Re: coded (remastered HD cinematics)
  • Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Prologue of the last chapter
  • Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD
  • Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by sleep – A fragmentary passage-
  • Kingdom Hearts χ Cover (film)

Curiously, Square Enix has not announced an Xbox version of Kingdom Hearts – The story so far, despite the fact that Kingdom Hearts 3 arrives on Xbox One. It's a particularly strange move since Kingdom Hearts 3 is the very first game in the series to land on an Xbox console, which means most Xbox One owners need even more refreshments than PlayStation 4.

Kingdom Hearts 3 will appear on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 29, 2019, but readers can take a look at all the worlds revealed up to now. Last month, his English cast was unveiled with his opening song.
