Square Enix fans have received new rumors about Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Kingdom Hearts 3.

Rumor has it that the Japanese video game giant might consider bringing Kingdom Hearts 3 to the Nintendo Switch.

YouTuber DreamcastGuy said that a source told him that Square Enix was seriously considering bringing Kingdom Hearts 3 to Nintendo Switch.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is scheduled for release date for January on the PS4 and Xbox One. It is therefore unlikely that a version of Switch will be launched at the same time.

If Square Enix decides to put Kingdom Hearts 3 on the exchange, it will probably be the same with Dragon Quest XI – at a later date.

But could this also open the door to Final Fantasy 7 Remake and get a release date for Nintendo Switch?

Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Kingdom Hearts 3 run on the same engine – Unreal 4.

If Square Enix thinks the Switch could handle a Kingdom Hearts 3 port, they might feel the same way about the Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

Rumors come after last year, Hajime Tabata, director of Final Fantasy 15, said Square Enix had tested the Unreal Engine 4 on the Nintendo Switch.

And Tabata-san said that during testing, the Nintendo Hybrid console was handling the engine well.

In other news of Square Enix, rumors have run that the mysterious game Avengers could move to new generation consoles.

Crystal Dynamics is the developer of the Avengers project and a recent job offer has hinted that the game may soon switch to next generation formats.

The company is looking for an experienced software engineer with "experience with current and next generation platforms: Xbox, PlayStation and PC".

The list of job offers has sparked rumors that the new Avengers game could be intergenerational.

And finally, in today's Square Enix newspaper, fans looking to get Octopath Traveler have been notified of the inventory update.

Shortly after the launch, the title of Nintendo Switch was like gold dust, which sold quickly every time it arrived in stock.

But there are a number of online retailers that you can choose from now Octopath Traveler.

Amazon, Argos, AO and 365games all have a physical version of Octopath Traveler available if you want to buy it online right now.
