We did not know that the full title was Fallout 76 gigs
We are a few days from the exit of Fallout 76 and the launch of the new version of Bethesda Fall game will come with a 54GB patch for PlayStation 4, as reported by PlayStation Universe. Add to that a basic installation size of 45 GB and you will need to free up a lot of space on your hard drive to make room for installation. Say goodbye to all these pictures of Spider-Man.
Those of you who have played the beta should only have to deal with the fix. So, even if it is not so painful, the fact that it is bigger than the current game is a bit ridiculous. All of this comes on the heels of a 30GB patch that was released before the last two days of the beta. Thus, if you have followed all the beta sessions, you plan to use a total bandwidth of approximately 130 GB over a period of just over two weeks.
Fortunately, I have the luxury of choosing when it comes to my ISP. Because of this, I chose one that does not limit my bandwidth (read: not Comcast). Unfortunately, some ISPs will start reducing your speed if you use a lot of data or even charge you extra fees if you exceed a certain limit (read: Comcast). At some point, you should be interested in people who want to play these games and have no choice but to use questionable ISPs because they are the only ones available in their area.
We do not know how important the one-day patch will be for other platforms, but I imagine they will also be heavy.
