The long series Super Smash Bros. Nintendo has spread to all Nintendo consoles (and a handheld) since its debut on the Nintendo 64 in 1999. What are the echo fighters?
As you can see above, six characters are called "echo fighters". These characters basically have movements very similar to those of the hunter on which they are based. So expect Daisy to play the same way as Peach, Dark Samus has the same skills as Samus, and so on.

In addition to the huge list of players, there will be a lot of steps to fight on. Many of these steps come from previous games and will need to be unlocked through the game. According to the trailers and information provided by Nintendo, here are the steps that have been confirmed so far.

You choose the scene before your character
In a move that will surely lead to new strategies, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the scene is chosen before choosing your fighter. It is obvious that some stages improve better for some sets of movements. So it's an interesting change.

New game modes

Can you use GameCube controllers?
The GameCube controller has been kept relevant only because of its popularity within the Smash community. Like the previous two iterations, you'll be able to use GameCube controllers to play Ultimate. You will need a USB adapter to do it, but you can easily find one on Amazon for under $ 20. If you already have the Wii U GameCube adapter, it will work fine.
