Super Smash Bros. Ultimate receives a new remix for his highness King Bowser

Hi King Koopa!

As the release date of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate inches closer, we received another new remix from Nintendo. This time it's "King Bowser" from Super Mario Bros. 3, joining the previously revealed "Fortress Boss" arrangement of the same game.

The man responsible for this track is the one and only Koji Kondo. Check out the new song below.

There is not much to say here about Koji Kondo. The man is a legend at Nintendo, having been there since the Famicom. He is responsible for the iconic scores of multiple franchises, including Super Mario and THE legend of Zelda. If you have ever played a game from one or the other franchise, chances are you have already heard his work.

In terms of contributions to the Super Smash Bros. Frankly, this is only the third arrangement that Koji has ever made. For Super Smash Bros. Brawl he provided "Ground Theme (Super Mario Bros)" and for Super Smash Bros. 4 he provided "Super Mario Bros. Medley". Honestly, it's amazing to see only three titles, although many arrangements in the game are based on his work. So we could say that the presence of Koji in the soundtrack is greater than it initially seems there. For example, any arrangement based on the original theme of THE legend of Zelda must to compose it in the first place. You can listen to this nostalgic trip below.
