Microsoft plans to release an LTE version of its Surface Go tablet on November 20th. Preorders begin today with a base model priced at $ 679 for consumers and $ 729 for businesses. The base model includes 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Businesses will also be able to choose a second model with 256GB of storage for $ 829. Surface Go with LTE will appear for the first time in the United States and Canada on November 20th. Orders for 21 other markets are expected to be online on November 22.
The LTE version of Microsoft Surface Go comes just a week after launching a new midrange model in the Microsoft Store. The $ 499 version includes 4GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD storage, an improvement over the $ 399 starting price model with 64GB of eMMC storage.
Surface Go seems to help increase surface sales in general. Microsoft's chief financial officer, Amy Hood, revealed in his recent report on financial results that Surface Sales for the first quarter of fiscal 2019 was based on Surface Book 2 and Surface Go sales. The Surface Go of 10 inches of Microsoft is widely considered a reduced version of the Surface Pro. He helped bring down the price of the company's hybrid PC concept.
