The launch of the LG V40 ThinQ is scheduled for T-Mobile on Oct. 19, but some lucky pre-order customers are getting their new phone a few days in advance.

TmoNews' reader, Nick, received his LG V40 ThinQ today, well before the official release of the phone. The first time the V40 made a good impression, Nick said it was a "well made device" and that "the screen was great" and that "the audio via Bluetooth was great".

T-Mobile usually ships preorder devices a few days before their official launch date. It is therefore not surprising to see the LG V40 land already at its customers. It's still exciting, because it's fun to get a new smartphone before it's available on store shelves.

As a reminder, the LG V40 ThinQ includes a triple rear camera with a standard 12MP sensor, a 16MP wide angle camera with a 107 degree field of view and a 12MP telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom. The notch on the V40 display screen contains two other cameras: a standard 8MP sensor and a 5MP wide-angle lens with a 80-degree field of view.

Another detail worth mentioning is that the LG V40 supports T-Mobile's 600 MHz LTE network. The V40 supports LTE 2, 4, 5, 12, 46, 66 and 71 bands as well as LTE 1, 3, 7, 8, 13, 20, 25, 26, 28, 38 roaming bands. , 39, 40, 41.
