Take-Two Interactive Dumps, an old trademark on a new PS3 game

Does anyone remember the game? Agent? Or at least, the concept for that? And it's funny, we still discuss it in 2018. In 2009, Sony announced that the game would arrive on PS3 E3, developed by Rockstar Games and published by Take-Two Interactive. But all the time that the company owned the brand, nothing came of the game. So it should not shock anyone that the brand of the game has expired, because neither company took the trouble to do drop an extension.

To date, this has become a bit of a mystery and joke in the industry, one of the earliest examples of "Development Hell" where a company advertises a game and never materializes. In fact, the only proof Agent was in development relies on links for Rockstar and Take-Two, as well as on a Reddit article showing assets, but even this information says almost nothing about the game. Is there anybody else? will use the IP now that it is free, maybe even buy the assets to work on it? Probably not. And let's be honest, knowing the background of Rockstar, Agent was probably just going to be a James Bond / Cold War version of GTA. So even if it sucks, we did not have the chance to see it, I'm willing to bet that a lot of ideas GTA online later.
