That's the Google Pixel Slate – TechCrunch

Maybe there will be surprises at next week's Google event. At this rate, however, we are not quite optimistic in the future. Just as Pixel 3 received full treatment in Hong Kong, a new candidate appeared. Like a number of recent leaks, these new Pixel Slate renderings are courtesy of My Smart Home Hub.

As previous leaks have suggested, the device appears as a tablet complement to the company's well-crafted Pixel Book. That is, it is a major breakthrough in the Chrome OS hardware market.

While the Pixel Book is convertible via a swivel keyboard, the Slate is duplicated with a detachable keyboard housing. The case has round keys, typewriter type, which seem a little stronger than those found on other detachable at first.

There is also an integrated trackpad, which puts it ahead of the latest Samsung Galaxy Tab offer. The top also seems to have a fold for folding, which suggests that it will keep slate in notebook mode. The system also seems to work with the Pixel Book pen. Nothing else in terms of information here, although there seems to be front and rear cameras, front speakers and a USB-C (Microsoft Surface, for example).

More information will probably arrive on the morning of October 9th. Patience, friends.
