The iPhone XR is the cheapest model in the Apple iPhone 2018 lineup and the phone analysts had originally predicted to be the best seller in the group. But at this point, the iPhone XS and XS Max We have been selling for five weeks now and it is still too early to tell if the XR will be able to sell better than its high-end siblings. Starting Friday at 2 pm PT, some colorful models of the iPhone XR already had delays of one to two weeks on the Apple website, especially for 128GB models on T -Mobile.

Its price tags of $ 749, £ 749 and AU $ 1,229 (for the 64GB model) mean that the iPhone XR is $ 250, £ 250 and AU $ 400 cheaper than the same version of the iPhone. iPhone XS with many of the same premium features.

The main differences between the two XS phones and the XR are the size, color and the camera. Instead of an OLED screen like the other two, the iPhone XR has a Liquid Retina LCD that is not as sharp and that sits in the middle of the other two in terms of size, to 6.1 inches. It's also a lot more colorful with six different colors to choose from, including red, blue, coral, yellow, black and white. And it has an aluminum frame instead of stainless steel. The phone just switches one rear-facing camera instead of the two cameras on the XS and the XS Max, which means that it will not have an as effective zoom and that the camera will not be able to zoom in. Portrait mode effect is done with the help of a software only.

These tablets would be available in two sizes, one with an 11-inch screen and the other with a 12.9-inch screen. There is also talk of a Macbook model cheaper, at a price comparable to that of the current Air, with a 13-inch Retina display and a Mac Mini update. Emoji Drama on iOS 12.1

And in addition "serious news" Apple's new emoji bagel made headlines this week for its dull appearance in the public beta iOS 12.1.

Users went on Twitter to protest the sad portrayal of this New York staple and called for justice.

Fortunately, this story ends well since Apple has since changed the bagel into something more edible with a thicker bread and a layer of smeared cream cheese. And Twitter is happy.

Apple

This is not the first time users ask for changes to an emoji. Last year, it was Google that was on the hot seat of burger emoji in Android 8.0 that placed the cheese on the bottom bun, rather than on the slab to which it apparently belongs. Google CEO Sundar Pichai has tackled the problem on Twitter and has restored the order of Android users by putting the cheese back to its proper place in the next version of the emoji.
